Everyone who gives you a wedding gift should receive a timely thank you note, even if you’ve already thanked the giver verbally. Handwritten notes show a certain level of appreciation that every human being craves. It also shows you care.

Although standard American etiquette dictates that you have up until one year to send your wedding thank you notes, it’s better practice to send them as soon as you arrive form your honeymoon.
